Garnett, Kansas in the Past

Garnett was incorporated in 1861. It is the county seat of Anderson County. The population has not changed much in my lifetime. In 1950 the population was 2,693 and in 2010 it was 3,415. Some of the photos below were taken before or after the sixties but the locations look very much the same as when I was in high school.
