I guess you could say this website was started in 1957 when a 10-year-old girl cut a poem out of Capper's Weekly and put it in a shoe box that had formerly held a paper doll collection. From that time on I was an avid collector of poems and quotes. When I got my first computer in 1991 I started typing them into files.
Little did I know how much I would use them a few years later when I became a scrapbook consultant. First I used the files as a resource for my customers and myself. Then I started sharing them with other consultants and customers in a variety of online forums. Eventually I put them on this web site so they would be more readily accessible to others.
I still enjoy scrapbooking but spend more time now creating websites. I recently moved some of my websites to sections on this site. One site is for my high school graduating class. My personal website has information about my family, friends, interests and current activities. It is a work in progress.
In January, 2001 I started back to school after 35 years. In January 2003 I received an associates degree in Computer Information Systems. Unfortunately the economy took a turn for the worse during those two years and the job that was supposed to be waiting for me disappeared I went on to get a Bachelors Degree in July 2004 and my divorce became final the same month. I worked for several years and then retired. I live in a mobile home in the same town as my daughters. I have three wonderful granddaughters.
